Jody Swirepik

Jody Swirepik was appointed as the Commonwealth Environmental Water Holder in February 2018 following the retirement of David Papps. Immediate prior to taking up the CEWH position Jody spent 3 years with the Clean Energy Regulator learning about the parallel universe of carbon accountancy and renewables working with big industry’s. Jody has over 25 years of experience in the water sector where she has been responsible for driving a range of initiatives including state water reforms, The Living Murray and parts of the Basin Plan.

In her earlier career, Jody worked for NSW EPA for a decade and in both planning and regulatory roles for the ACT government.
